  1. What type of quality control processes does Goodwill have in place?
    Goodwill has been registered ISO 9001:2000 since 2002. The customer service processes and quality management systems in place meet the stringent business standards established by the International Organization for Standardization. Complete customer satisfaction is Goodwill's goal.

  2. What is Goodwill's facility capacity?
    The Tremont facility is 40,000 square feet of conditioned production space, 35,000 square feet of high-clearance warehouse space, and an additional 30,000 square feet of space available for expansion. Multi-shift operations are available to meet customer needs. Goodwill has the capacity for ongoing, large-scale projects while still accommodating smaller, in-out type of projects.

  3. What type of equipment does Goodwill have?
    The current facility has bagging, bundling, medium-speed shrink-wrapping and customer-specific die-cutting capabilities. Goodwill also has the ability to invest in specialized equipment or can operate customer-owned equipment, if preferred.

  4. Does Goodwill have an inventory-control system?
    Yes, Goodwill's customized plant floor system integrates production, inventory and order processing. Bar code scanning and wireless technology allows for accurate real-time data collection that integrates with Goodwill's Microsoft Dynamics GP business management software. Customers have real-time access to inventory levels from receiving to shipping through secure partner login.

  5. What types of transportation services are available?
    Goodwill has pick-up and delivery capabilities with our in-house tractors and trailers. Our facility has eight shipping docks that accommodate full truckload (53-foot) or LTL shipments.

  6. How do I schedule a visit and tour of the Goodwill facility?

  7. What are Goodwill's pricing and payment policies?
    Goodwill tailors our pricing to the customer's needs and the costs associated with fulfilling the order. Goodwill's staff strives to offer the best combination of value, quality and customer service. Goodwill does not receive any government funding for its Commercial Services operations. Standard payments terms are net 30 days.

  8. Can Goodwill provide employees at my site?

  9. Will you tell me about the people Goodwill employs? 
    Commercial Services employs 140 people. Most of these individuals have significant barriers to becoming economically self-sufficient. Goodwill provides work opportunities to individuals with disabilities, those with poor or no work history, former criminal offenders, and those with other barriers keeping them from being independent.

  10. Tell me more about Goodwill Industries Commercial Services Division.
    Goodwill Industries exists to help people in central Indiana prepare for, find and keep jobs and to help employers solve workforce-related problems. Goodwill provides work opportunities, job preparation and placement services. The Goodwill Commercial Services operation is a key component to supporting this mission.
